Directly outside your campsite, Île de Ré reveals its coastal wonders. Just a stone's throw away, treat yourself to a moment of relaxation on the golden sands of the Conche des Baleines beach. But be careful, don't be charmed too quickly! The beaches of Gros Jonc and Les Gollandières will work their magic too if you are looking to get away from it all!

Head to the north of the island for an encounter with the legendary phare des Baleines. And for a breath of fresh air mixed with wild beauty, head for the National Nature Reserve of Lilleau des Niges. Stroll, breathe and marvel!

A diversion to the bell tower observatory and Notre-Dame-de-Ré Abbey is a must to complete your tour. Within the fortifications of the town of Saint-Martin-de-Ré, you will discover a remarkable history as you stroll through the town. And don't forget, La Rochelle is close too, just on the other side of the famous Pont de Ré.
